Guilderland has highest paid police officers at $95,000

Guilderland’s 35 police officers are the highest paid police department in the Capital Region, according to a new report from the Empire Center: Troy ranks No. 1 in crime in Capital Region; Albany and Schenectady close behind.

Guilderland officers earn, on average, $95,000, including base pay and overtime. Bethlehem and Schenectady were also in the top 3.
